MEET THE ARTIST: Nicole Trimmer

1.What inspires you about Bremerton?

A: I’ve only been here for a few years so what’s inspiring to me about Bremerton is its little secret pockets of parks and nature spots that I’ve been finding! Whether it’s a secret beach spot or a park with a ton of wild berries I love finding these natural places in the city.
2. What drew you to your medium?

A: What drew me to mixed media is that I love color and find sticking to just one medium causes burnout for me so combining them depending on what I’m feeling for the painting works best for me!

3. Where can we find more of your art?

A: You can find my work currently at urban plant in Bremerton and the near sighted narwhal in Tacoma, also coming up in a couple of weeks for next months first Friday at the green room in manette I’m doing a PNW inspired nature solo show! Also I post new works frequently on Instagram to purchase! .
